Yama's Art Commissions
- Process, Rules, & Terms of Service -

First, please know that commissions are not first come first serve, and filling a form does not guarantee you a slot.

Fill out this Commission Form to request a slot, and get a price estimate (before any extras).

If I pick your commission, I will reach out to you myself to discuss your idea, and reserve you a slot.

I will send a rough sketch for you to approve. Unlimited changes are allowed during that phase.

Once the rough sketch approved, I will send payment info. Painting processes will only start once i have received full or partial payment.

Unless very minor, any changes after the rough sketch is approved might result in an extra fee depending on the amount of work needed for it. This does not include corrections if I misunderstood or forgot something.

Once completed, you be sent via email a full size, 300 dpi .PNG file of the artwork. You may ask for a transparent version as well, if desired.

Real people (family members, actors, live-action characters, etc.)

Any hateful and discriminatory content

Very complex full armor, mecha, etc.

Explicit NSFW, porn, fetish art, etc.

Content with my own characters

Imitation of another art style

Do NOT claim the artwork as yours.

Do NOT modify the image in any way by cropping, applying filters, altering or removing my signature, overpainting, etc.

You may upload the artwork with full and proper credit (tags or visible links). However, sharing directly from my own posts is preferred and much appreciated.

You may ask for the commission to remain private.

You may have the artwork printed for personal use only.

All artwork is for personal use only and may not be used for any commercial purposes.

Artwork may NOT be used for NFT minting or AI training.

By commissioning me, you're purchasing my artist labor only. I retain all the rights to my work, and reserve the right to use commissioned artwork for self-promotion.

Unless asked to keep it private, the final artwork will likely be posted on my social media. If the commission is a gift for someone else, I can wait until you are ready before posting it.

Any work discarded for any reason might be reused later for my own projects.

Any known scammer or anyone intentionally and/or repeatedly breaking any of my rules will be ignored and blacklisted.

Each and every price shown is in $CAD.

Payment must be sent through PayPal invoice.

Anything equal to or below 100$ CAD must be paid upfront.

Anything above 100$ CAD may be split 100$ upfront and the remaining amount later if desired.

If payment is split, progress updates will be very limited, and depending on the type of commission, progress might stop entirely until the remainig amount is paid.

Full or partial payment must be sent within 3 days of receiving the invoice. If no payment is sent after those 3 days, your commission will be cancelled.

If more time is needed (eg, waiting for a paycheck), please let me know as soon as possible.

Prices might change without notice. If any price change occurs while I am working on your commission, you will not be charged any differently than what was agreed upon.

Tips, while absolutely not necessary, are greatly appreciated ! If you wish, you may choose to tip upon receiving the PayPal invoice, or later through my Ko-fi.

If you have an issue at any point during the commission process, please let me know so we can sort things out.

If you wish to cancel a commission before I have started any linework, you may be refunded up to half of what has already been paid at that moment.

Any cancellation past the rough sketch approval is not elligible for a refund.

In the event where I am at fault for not being able to complete your commission, you will be notified and refund details will be discussed.

If you request a PayPal chargeback at any point during the process, you will lose any right to the commissioned artwork, finished or not, and be blacklisted. I will supply PayPal with our agreement, my T.O.S. and the commission form as evidence that you agreed to them, and that work has been done for you.
